2008- Referrals trickle in slowly, and the wait time continues to increase by one month to a half month each month. We are caught between, the temptation of becoming discouraged, and being thankful for the opportunity to adopt. When we think back on our circumstance, and thinking of never having the blessings of having a child in our home again, it causes us to grit our whole being, and take on each new day in prayer ,trust and hope. Some thoughts that we have been reminded of during this time - When Jesus was on a mission he would stop and take care of the needs before Him, He was not bogged down with a schedule, and He was never late. It gives us a perspective on His perfect timing, instead of dwelling on the statistics. Therefore I say unto you,
What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Psalm 37:7
There are many scriptures on patience that have become very precious to us, here are some of the references- Patience eliminates worry- Rom.8:25,
" " self-works John 6:29
" " all want, weakness, wobbling Dan. 8:18
" yields worship, Col.1:1 James 1:4
Hold steady when the fires burn,
When inner lessons come to learn,
And from this path there seems no turn_
"Let patience have her perfect work."
